Hacettepe University Department of Food Engineering’s undergraduate programme is designated again as a European-Accredited Engineering Bachelor Degree Programme. The accreditation has been provided by the Engineering Education Programs Evaluation and Accreditation Association (MÜDEK) for 5 years as of September 30, 2021.
Education

Hacettepe University Department of Food Engineering, which was established in 1976 and started to give its first graduates in 1980. In the undergraduate program, after basic science courses given in the first year, intensive basic engineering courses and technology courses are given. The language of instruction is Turkish, 1/3 of the courses are taught in English and 1-year English preparatory education is given.
