Hacettepe University Department of Food Engineering’s undergraduate programme is designated again as a European-Accredited Engineering Bachelor Degree Programme. The accreditation has been provided by the Engineering Education Programs Evaluation and Accreditation Association (MÜDEK) for 5 years as of September 30, 2021.

Mission

The mission of Hacettepe University Department of Food Engineering is to educate high-quality food engineers who are committed to ethical principles, innovative, entrepreneurial, questioning and self-improving, who will ensure the development of the food industry with the knowledge and skills they have acquired in the light of universal values.

Vision

The vision of the Hacettepe University Department of Food Engineering is to direct the development of the food industry by prioritizing food safety and food security, and to contribute to the food engineering literature with high-quality research projects and scientific publications.
